As part of our Stronger Together community recovery program, the Huon Valley Council is pleased to announce that the new Quick Response Grants program is now open for applications.

Council is committed to recognising local skills, strengths and resources and supporting individuals, groups, clubs and organisations to be active in a variety of recovery initiatives.

Funding of up to $1,000 is available for activities that build capacity, strength and resilience in the Huon Valley community. A total pool of $30,000 will be made available until the funds are exhausted.

Funds will be split across three priority areas:

• $15,000 for community projects
• $10,000 for creative projects
• $5,000 for youth-focused projects
