Running an event in the Huon Valley

Council provides support to local community events through advice, permits to use Council land or roads, access to venues, equipment loans and financial support. Support with Traffic Management Plan signage is available for major annual events.

Council Facilities

Huon Valley Council have a range of facilities available for public use, from parks and sporting grounds, through to community halls and meeting rooms. 

Games Loans

Council has a selection of giant and outdoor lawn games which can be loaned to local community events. 

Community Liveability Fund

The Community Liveability Fund supports projects that strengthen the social, cultural, environmental, or economic wellbeing of the Huon Valley including community events and activities.
