Delays are expected.

The Department of State Growth – not Council – is managing the road works, as part of the Huon Link Road build.

Skinners Creek Walking Track partial closure

The Flood Road entrance to Skinners Creek walking track in Huonville will also be closed from Monday 29 January 2024.

Please see the map below, showing the affected part of the track.

Huon Link Road project

The Huon Link Road is a joint project, funded by the Tasmanian and Australian Governments.

The new bypass is designed to reduce congestion and improve safety in the Huonville town centre.

This will occur by diverting traffic to and from Cygnet, away from Main Street.

Click here for more information on the Huon Link Road project .

Night works will also begin on Orchard Avenue, Huonville from Sunday 4 February 2024.

Crews will be working nightly from 6:00pm to 6:00am. This work is expected to generate some noise.
