Works have begun on the new, dual-lane, Pelverata Road Bridge!

The former bridge on Pelverata Road was significantly damaged during the floods in August 2022. In response, Council erected a temporary Bailey Bridge over the existing abutments to allow for traffic flow to continue on Pelverata Road.

Following collaborative discussions with the community, the decision was made that the new replacement bridge would be dual-lane, reflecting Council’s commitment to improving our Valley’s infrastructure.

During the works, motorists are asked to obey all traffic management signs and drive to the conditions.

The bridge is expected to be completed later this summer.
