In accordance with the 2022-2023 Works Program, Council will be carrying out road works on Church Street, Franklin.

Works will include new resealing of the road and parking area near the school, as well as new kerb and channel and stormwater infrastructure in the area.

Works are scheduled to commence in the week starting 23 January 2023 and will be undertaken by Council’s contractor. Works aim to be completed within the next 2 months, subject to weather and contractor availability.

This project is funded from the The Roads to Recovery Program that supports the construction and maintenance of the nation’s local road infrastructure assets, which facilitates greater accessibility and improves safety, economic and social outcomes for Australians.
