A morning workshop and shared lunch to celebrate ageing and connect with community, as part of Seniors Month
Join Geeveston Community Centre for a Learn and Lunch session on navigating the aged care system. The morning starts with a plain-language workshop explaining how the aged care system works, what supports and services are available, and how to make your first call to My Aged Care, advocate for your own needs, and find the right service provider. You’ll take home easy-to-follow guides to help put it all into practice.
Afterwards, stay for lunch and share stories as the community comes together to celebrate seniors and ageing.
