Christmas spirit was in the air at our recent Eating with Friends event. Students from the Huon Valley Trade Training Centre professionally served up a delicious four-course meal to patrons in the Huon Valley Hub. The menu included ploughman’s plate, BBQ prawns, turkey and ham pot pie, and Eton mess for dessert. A festive afternoon was had by all, with much anticipation for the next event in the new year.

Join the friends

Our Eating with Friends program has a multicultural flair, with a focus on foods from around the world. It provides an opportunity for local people to get together, catch up with each other and meet new friends while learning about delicious new food.

More Eating with Friends events will be happening at the Huon Valley Hub in 2023. Keep an eye out on Council’s Facebook page and  Age Well Huon Facebook page for future events.
