Scholarships of up to $5,000 are now available for Huon Valley residents studying in health services.

Every year the Greg Norris Memorial Health Scholarship assists Huon Valley residents studying in the field of medicine, nursing or allied health.

Named after former Mayor Greg Norris, an advocate for improved Huon Valley health services in the early 1990s, the scholarship intends to encourage residents to obtain a health services qualification and practise in the Huon Valley.

Applications close 29 January 2024.
