It has all the required equipment for self-catering with light kitchen facilities, including fridge, microwave, electric frypan, 2 hotplates, kettle, toaster, BBQ and electric heating. Also included are a reverse-cycle air conditioner, electric blankets, free Wi-Fi, smart TV with streaming and DVD, clock-radio and hair dryer.
The Boathouse is situated at 589 Esperance Coast Road in scenic Desolation Bay, in the Far South of Tasmania, on 10 acres (4ha) with 2 acres of parkland and absolute water frontage, mooring in the bay, a nearby boat launching ramp, and Huon River estuary views.
Conveniently located halfway between Geeveston and Dover, just before Police Point, it’s one hour’s drive south of Hobart (80km) along the scenic Esperance Coast Road — the ideal base to visit the spectacular Tahune Forest Airwalk, Hartz Mountain National Park, South West Wilderness, Hastings Caves & Thermal Pool, and the Ida Bay Railway, among the many attractions this region offers.
