The Role

As the Technical Officer – Engineering you will:

  • Provide technical and administrative support across Infrastructure area
  • Assist with fieldwork, including surveying and engineering project support
  • Coordinate regulatory approvals impacting Council’s infrastructure
  • Respond to customer enquiries and investigate complaints relating to Council infrastructure

What You will Bring:

To thrive in this role, you will have the following:

  • Completion of a relevant qualification and/or relevant practical experience
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply engineering regulations, standards, and codes
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, set priorities, and meet deadlines
