The Role

As the Senior Team Leader Civil Works you will:

  • Coordinate and deliver civil infrastructure maintenance programs across the municipality
  • Lead and supervise works crews and contractors in the day-to-day delivery of maintenance activities
  • Conduct inspections and audits of civil infrastructure to ensure operational safety and determine maintenance priorities
  • Manage operational budgets and resources effectively
  • Provide technical expertise and responses to infrastructure maintenance requirements
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, safety standards and Council policies

What You will Bring:

  • Experience in civil works and construction management, particularly in road maintenance and infrastructure projects
  • Project management skills including scheduling, cost planning and reporting
  • Leadership skills and team management experience
  • Understanding of safety in construction
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Computer skills for reporting and planning
  • Strong communication skills
  • Medium or Heavy Rigid Licence
  • White Card
