The Role
As the Senior Team Leader Unsealed Roads you will:
- Coordinate and lead the delivery of unsealed roads maintenance works, including grading, gravel resheeting, potholing, shoulder maintenance, and vegetation control
- Manage the annual maintenance program
- Supervise and support work crews and contractors in day-to-day operations
- Conduct road inspections and assessments to determine maintenance priorities and ensure optimal road conditions
- Monitor budges and ensure expenditure aligns with approved plans
- Provide technical advice and responses to unsealed road maintenance requests
- Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team

What You will Bring:
The successful applicant will have the following:
- A current construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Demonstrated experience in unsealed roads maintenance and construction management
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, cost planning and reporting
- Proven leadership capability, including team supervision and WHS compliance
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Competency using Microsoft 365, email, and web-based programs relevant to works management
