The Role

As the Senior Team Leader Unsealed Roads you will:

  • Coordinate and lead the delivery of unsealed roads maintenance works, including grading, gravel resheeting, potholing, shoulder maintenance, and vegetation control
  • Manage the annual maintenance program
  • Supervise and support work crews and contractors in day-to-day operations
  • Conduct road inspections and assessments to determine maintenance priorities and ensure optimal road conditions
  • Monitor budges and ensure expenditure aligns with approved plans
  • Provide technical advice and responses to unsealed road maintenance requests
  • Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team

What You will Bring:

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • A current construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Demonstrated experience in unsealed roads maintenance and construction management
  • Strong project management skills, including scheduling, cost planning and reporting
  • Proven leadership capability, including team supervision and WHS compliance
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Competency using Microsoft 365, email, and web-based programs relevant to works management
