The Role

As the Senior Team Leader Civil Works you will:

  • Coordinate and lead the delivery of sealed road, bridge, footpath, and stormwater maintenance works across the municipality.
  • Supervise and support works crews and contractors in the day-to-day operations
  • Manage the annual maintenance program
  • Conduct inspections and audits of civil infrastructure to ensure operational safety and determine maintenance priorities
  • Manage operational budgets and resources effectively
  • Provide technical advice and responses to maintenance requests
  • Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team

What You will Bring:

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • A current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Demonstrated experience in civil works and infrastructure maintenance, particularly roads, bridges, and stormwater
  • Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, cost control and reporting
  • Proven leadership capability, including team supervision and WHS compliance
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Competency using computers and tablets with competency in various software applications, including Microsoft Office, email, and web-based programs relevant to works management
