The Role
As the Senior Team Leader Civil Works you will:
- Coordinate and lead the delivery of sealed road, bridge, footpath, and stormwater maintenance works across the municipality.
- Supervise and support works crews and contractors in the day-to-day operations
- Manage the annual maintenance program
- Conduct inspections and audits of civil infrastructure to ensure operational safety and determine maintenance priorities
- Manage operational budgets and resources effectively
- Provide technical advice and responses to maintenance requests
- Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team

What You will Bring:
The successful applicant will have the following:
- A current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Demonstrated experience in civil works and infrastructure maintenance, particularly roads, bridges, and stormwater
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, cost control and reporting
- Proven leadership capability, including team supervision and WHS compliance
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Competency using computers and tablets with competency in various software applications, including Microsoft Office, email, and web-based programs relevant to works management
