The Role
As the Recreation Services Officer you will:
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of high-quality sporting and recreational facilities in the Huon Valley
- Provide high level assistance to the Recreation Services Team
- Support the implementation of Council’s Recreation Plan, playgrounds strategy and marine facilities Strategy
- Supervise Cemetery Caretaker and cemetery day to day operations
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Completion of relevant certificate or diploma level qualification and/or relevant extensive practical experience
- High level communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to use own initiative
- Proficiency in computerised systems and programs including Microsoft 365 suite of applications
- Proven ability of fostering collaborative teamwork within diverse environments
