The Multi Skilled Field Worker Role

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work alongside a supportive team to deliver quality outcomes for the Huon Valley community, contributing to projects that make a real difference to local roads and public spaces.

As a Multi Skilled Field Worker you will:

  • Assist with the maintenance and construction of roads, footpaths and associated infrastructure
  • Maintain and improve infrastructure for the community of the Huon Valley
  • Operate plant and equipment to achieve your teams’ objectives

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant will bring a practical, can-do attitude and a commitment to safety and teamwork. They will have the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge and experience in road maintenance and construction and capital works
  • Experience operating a range of plant and equipment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience using computer and/or tablets.
  • Experience in working within WHS policy, procedures and guidelines.
  • Current and valid MR Drivers Licence
  • White Card
  • Traffic Controller and/or Traffic Management Implementer ticket
