Your Role

As the Recreation Centre Officer (Lifeguard) you will:

  • Ensure the safety of patrons by providing effective supervision and lifeguarding
  • Undertake routine checks and basic maintenance of pool equipment
  • Provide basic administrative assistance through processing charges and operating the kiosk
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the centre

What You will Bring:

To thrive in this role, you will have the following:

  • A current Pool Lifeguard accreditation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sports centre and swimming pool operations.
  • Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to upholding values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Service Excellence and Continuous Improvement in all aspects of day-to-day operations
