The Role
As the Leading Hand Civil Works you will:
- Coordinate the day-to-day work of your team, making sure jobs are completed to IPWEA standards and within timeframes
- Be the on-site point of contact for the public, including handling queries and complaints
- Train, guide and develop Multi Skilled Field Workers so the team delivers quality work on time
- Advise your Coordinator on scheduling, priorities, and materials needed for upcoming projects

What You will Bring:
The successful applicant will have the following:
- A current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Demonstrated experience in civil works and infrastructure maintenance, particularly roads, bridges, and stormwater
- Demonstrated experience operating a range of plant and equipment
- Strong supervisory, communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to direct, coach and motivate a team
- Proficiency in computerised systems, including Microsoft 365 and relevant in-house systems
- Demonstrated experience implementing WHS requirements and overseeing staff compliance
