A powerful new documentary on flood recovery, followed by a community panel discussion
Bonsai Films and the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (AMOS) invite you to a screening of FLOODLAND, a new documentary directed by Jordan Giusti telling the story of the devastating 2022 Lismore floods. Winner of the Sydney Film Festival’s 2025 Sustainability Award, the film is a powerful look at the urgent need to support communities facing the climate emergency, and how community-led solutions can enable recovery and healing.
Stay after the film for a Q&A panel featuring John Harkin (Resilience and Recovery Tasmania), Angela Barrington (Huon Valley Council) and Natalie Staark (Resilience Canopy).
