Large glowing letters AI are centered, surrounded by a digital circuit pattern and blue lights, symbolizing artificial intelligence and futuristic technology.

What exactly is Generative AI? How does it work – and is it something you actually need to know about?

Presented by Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) Business Advisor, Mikala Grosse, this session breaks it all down in plain English. Whether you’re curious, cautious, or just trying to keep up with the conversation, we’ll help you make sense of the tech that everyone’s talking about.

We’ll explore what Generative AI is (and what it isn’t), common myths and misconceptions, how it’s already being used in business (even if you don’t realise it), the risks and responsibilities of using AI, and what to consider before introducing it to your business or team.

By the end, you’ll have a clearer picture of how this fast-moving technology fits into the small business landscape – and where it might (or might not) fit for you.

This is the first session in a two-part series. Part 2, AI in Action: Applying Generative AI in Your Business, runs on Wednesday 4 November — you’re welcome to attend either or both.

Sessions are free to attend but will fill quickly, so don’t delay booking. Light refreshments will be provided.
