A group of people lies on yoga mats under blankets in a hall, with a woman seated on a stage in front of two banners. The atmosphere appears calm and meditative.

This workshop is the first in our 12-month Well Women, Well Communities program presented by the Huon Women’s Health Collective.

Thanks to funding from the Huon Valley Council Liveability Fund, this FREE morning workshop celebrates the vital role that women and gender-diverse people play as caregivers, leaders, advocates and the heart of our rural communities. Taking a strengths-based approach to mental health, this workshop focuses on what is already working in our community by recognising and celebrating the many ways women and gender-diverse people are connected, capable and resilient. Together, we will build on these existing strengths to further enhance wellbeing, belonging and community resilience.
