Join a warm and reflective evening exploring life, death, and what lies between — held at the beautiful Palais Theatre in Franklin.
Night at the Edge centres around a screening of Edge of Life, a groundbreaking new documentary that follows two Melbourne-based doctors into the Amazon and through clinical trials using psilocybin, as they explore new pathways in end-of-life care — helping their terminally ill patients meet death with greater peace.
The evening begins with nourishing Turkish food from the Something Turkish food van and live music from local singer Loe, before the group settles in for the film. The night then closes with a live Q&A led by local end-of-life doula Meg May and Rebecca Lyons — a local independent funeral director and globally respected death literacy educator — who brings deep wisdom and compassion to this space.
A meaningful night for community, connection, and expanding our relationship with the edge of life.
