Franklin Movie Nights are a community get-together held on the first Sunday of every month – A great way to enjoy a movie while meeting your local community and sharing some nibbles at interval.
Next Movie: Dean Spanley
In this 2008 comedy-drama set in Edwardian England, strained weekly visits between the emotionally distant, grieving father Horatio Fisk (Peter O’Toole) and his dutiful son Henslowe (Jeremy Northam) take an unexpected turn after they attend a lecture on reincarnation. There they meet the proper clergyman Dean Spanley (Sam Neill), who, under the influence of rare Hungarian Tokay wine at dinners arranged with the help of roguish acquaintance Wrather (Bryan Brown), begins to vividly recall his past life as a dog.
