A person sits alone on rocks by the edge of a calm lake, facing away and looking toward distant blue mountains and a forested shoreline under a partly cloudy sky.

The Huon Valley is home to a huge amount of fantastic environmental work β€” from Landcare and waterway protection to composting, food growing, coastal care, and much more. Much of this work is quietly happening every day, led by passionate locals and community groups.

Council wants to better understand what’s going on, what’s working, and what might help this work grow and continue into the future. As part of this, Council has been gathering community feedback through a short survey β€” and now it’s time to come together in person.

Join us on Sunday 28 June as we look at emerging themes, trends on the social map, and work together on possible actions and solutions.
