From Monday, 10 February 2026, Council will undertake essential culvert renewal works on Denison Road near 456 Denison Road, Lonnavale. This project is part of Council’s ongoing investment in maintaining critical road infrastructure across the region.

The works will involve upgrading the bridge culvert at this location. To allow the works to be completed safely and efficiently, a small offshoot section of Denison Road at the bridge site will be closed to traffic for the duration of the project. Please note: this closure affects only a minor branch road from the main Denison Road / Southwood Road route and will not impact the primary arterial route.

  • Expected duration: Approximately one week (weather permitting)
  • Affected area: The bridge culvert site on Denison Road, Lonnavale

During this period, there will be no vehicular access over the culvert, which may affect access to nearby properties. We encourage residents and road users to plan alternative routes where necessary.

We appreciate the community’s patience while this important upgrade takes place. Council is committed to completing the works as efficiently as possible, and the road will be reopened as soon as works are complete.
