Our office provides access for the following:

  • Commissioners for Declarations (CDs)
  • Justices of the Peace (JPs), by appointment only.

CDs are available during customer service centre opening hours.  JPs are available via an appointment.  Appointments can be arranged by booking online, calling the Customer Service Centre on 6264 0300 or via email hvc@huonvalley.tas.gov.au.

JP appointments are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays due to availability of staff. For appointments on other days, you can find alternative JPs in the Huon Valley by searching the official register on the Department of Justice website. The register allows you to find JPs by location and contact them directly.
