The Huon Valley Women’s Health Clinic provides longer, dedicated appointments for reproductive and women’s health care in a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment.
The clinic is led by Registrar Dr Melissa Catanzarite and supported by an all-female clinical team including Nurse Practitioner Gayle Rusher and Registered Nurse Lisa Hall.
This clinic is designed to give you time to talk through symptoms, concerns and options—so you feel heard, supported and able to make informed decisions about your care.

The clinic is open to people in the Huon Valley seeking women’s and reproductive health care, including:
- Women
- Non-binary people
- Trans women and trans men who want support for reproductive system health concerns

Appointments are available for a range of concerns and services, including:
- Endometriosis and period concerns
- Cervical screening
- IUDs and contraception options
- STI testing and treatment
- Persistent pelvic pain and pelvic floor pain
- Perimenopause and menopause care
- Breast health
- Pelvic prolapse

If you have a regular GP, the clinic can share relevant information with them (with your consent) to support continuity of care.

The clinic runs monthly on Fridays, 10:00am–6:00pm.
