A vibrant park scene with groups of people having picnics on the grass, children playing, cyclists, and walkers along a river, surrounded by trees and distant mountains under a partly cloudy sky.

The Huon Valley community is invited to attend an upcoming information session where .ID consultants will share insights and results from the recently completed Community Views Survey.

The session will reveal what matters most to local residents and how their feedback will shape future Council decisions to enhance quality of life in the region.

The Community Views survey examined 16 liveability attributes including feeling safe, affordable decent housing, and access to natural environment, to understand the community’s values, local area experiences, and future needs. The survey also explored community health and wellbeing, financial circumstances, concerns and ideas for improving quality of life.

The survey helps identify which aspects of community life – from safety and housing to access to nature – are most important to residents and where improvements are needed.

Informed Decisions (.id), a leading Australian demographic and economic consultancy servicing more than 300 local governments across the nation, conducted the study. The .id team includes geographers, demographers, economists, spatial analysts, urban planners, social researchers, forecasters, census data and IT experts who study how cities, towns and regions are growing and changing.

This is an opportunity for you to see how your voice is shaping the future of the Huon Valley – to discover the key findings, learn what your neighbours value most, and join the conversation about practical next steps for the community.
