The Role
As a Parks & Reserves Field Worker, you will be an essential member of our team, helping to maintain and enhance the natural beauty and functionality of our community spaces. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Maintaining parks, reserves, and recreational facilities to a high standard, including mowing, weeding, pruning, town gardening, street trees and general grounds maintenance
- Assisting with the construction and repair of park infrastructure such as pathways, fencing, seating, and playground equipment
- Operating and maintaining a range of tools, equipment and machinery safely
- Responding to maintenance requests and helping plan upcoming works
- Working with your team to deliver quality outcomes for our community

Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Experience in parks and grounds maintenance, horticulture, arboriculture or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Physical fitness and capability to undertake manual tasks in varying weather conditions
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
