A young woman wrapped in a gray blanket sits on a couch, holding a tissue to her nose and appearing to sneeze or blow her nose; plants and a window are in the background.

As the weather gets cooler and the days grow shorter, we are seeing a seasonal increase in respiratory infections across our community. This time of year typically brings more cases of coughs, colds, and other respiratory illnesses presenting at our medical practices.

To help protect our medical staff and ensure we can continue providing care, the Geeveston and Dover Medical Practices kindly request the following:

If you are experiencing cough, cold symptoms, shortness of breath, or any other respiratory concerns, please contact us before entering either practice.

We are happy to arrange a telephone consultation to assess your symptoms and determine the most appropriate course of care.

If a face-to-face consultation is necessary, this will be arranged at the Dover Medical Practice only, as the Geeveston Practice does not currently have the capacity to safely isolate patients with respiratory symptoms.

Your cooperation helps us maintain safe, continuous service for all patients.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
