VisAbility Box is back!
We’re taking over the Huon Valley Council’s Art Box in February 2026 to showcase some of the amazing artistic talent of LGBTQIA+ artists from Southern Tasmania.
The exhibition will be on display throughout the month of February 2026 as part of Pride Month, so you can enjoy the artworks anytime, day or night, in Huonville.
Join us for our celebration event:

🍴 Food & Drink: Drinks & light snacks will be provided -BYO share plate always welcome.
ℹ️ Details: This evening is open to everyone. Whether you’re contributing a piece or just coming to celebrate, we’d love your presence.
🌈 There’ll be:
- A puzzle table, fun trivia card games, art supplies & fidgets (donated by FSP)
- Mixed seating options + a quiet room set aside if you want to step out quietly
- An Acknowledgement of Country and a quick speech
- Light catered food
♿ Accessibility & Inclusion Info:
We’re aiming for the night to feel safe, welcoming, and as accessible as possible. Here’s what we know currently:
- The Huon Valley Hub is at 23-25 Main Street, Huonville
- It’s listed as wheelchair-friendly / “accessible toilets” in venue listings FOUND HERE
- There is a ramp entry
- We’ll provide mixed seating (chairs, couches, etc)
- We’re reserving a quiet room for folks who might need a break from noise or social stimulation
