Get ready to be amazed by the incredible talent and creativity of the Huon Valley’s young people at the Very Very Youth Market!
There is plenty to see, do, and buy — all brought to you by some of the community’s most inspiring young entrepreneurs. Grab a bite to eat, stop and listen to some talented buskers, and browse a wonderful range of handmade goods.
Among the stallholders is Lexi, aged 10, whose small business started with decorated tin cans and propagated house plants. After saving up her earnings, she invested in a 3D printer and has since expanded her range to include plant accessories, macramé goods, and — most excitingly — her Grannie’s very own tomato sauce recipe. Keep an eye out for a jar!
Also look out for Malu, a 12-year-old award-winning singer from Cygnet, and Charlie, a talented and experienced face painter. More young stallholders will be announced in the lead-up to the event, so watch this space!
