Over the last decade, scientists have uncovered remarkable examples of resilience, adaptation and coexistence with Devil Facial Tumour Disease 1. Whether devils can adapt to DFT2 remains to be seen.
Discover what these diseases are teaching us about evolution and cancer resilience, and how local communities across southern Tasmania are helping scientists use citizen science, AI and modern genomics to protect Tasmania’s top predator.
