To mark International Women’s Day, the Huon Women’s Health Collective is proud to once again host a dedicated day of connection, learning and celebration for local women/womxn and girls.
Thanks to renewed funding from the Tasmanian Government, this FREE full-day workshop honours the vital role rural women play as caregivers, leaders, advocates and the heart of our communities.
Together, we will recognise and name the unique strengths of rural women while offering meaningful opportunities for learning practices for nervous system support, time for sharing and reflection and expand upon the networks of connection.
Taking a strengths-based approach to mental health, the day focuses on what is already working in our community by identifying and celebrating the ways women are connected, capable and resilient and building on these foundations to further enhance wellbeing.
