Two children sit on a wooden floor painting a sign with the words RETHINK, REDUCE, REPURPOSE, RECYCLE on brown paper. The image promotes the ReThink Waste at the Library education series in Tasmania.

This festive season, learn furoshiki, the elegant Japanese art of wrapping presents in fabric. Weโ€™ll also cover creative gift tags and card ideas to help you celebrate sustainably. ReThink Waste at the Library are free sessions designed to Avoid, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle waste. Each session will focus on a different waste-related topic, carefully aligned with the seasonal calendar. This waste education series is a great way for community members to deepen their understanding of waste, recycling, and sustainability while connecting with others who are passionate about making a difference.
