Whether you’re are an existing volunteer group or someone looking to give back to your community, the Local Community Volunteer Project is here to help!
Join us at one of our FREE workshops where you will build skills, increase engagement and learn sustainable practices.
Workshop 1 – Volunteering Groups
This FREE interactive workshop explores how volunteer groups can build resilience by understanding their strengths and challenges, creating meaningful roles that encourage long-term involvement and attract new volunteers. Discover how to grow a thriving volunteer program that builds strong community connections and supports your group into the future.
Workshop 2 – Volunteering
Do you have a few spare hours occasionally or even longer term?
If so, we would love to engage with you at an informal workshop and talk about how you would like to be involved in your local community, building resilience by volunteering.
Workshop 3 – Networking for both groups
As a follow-up to Workshops 1 and 2, we’re inviting all participants to a networking event designed to build on the ideas and momentum sparked during the sessions. Connect with fellow attendees, explore collaboration opportunities, and continue the conversation about strengthening volunteer engagement in our communities. Whether you’re representing a volunteer group or considering where to get involved, this is your space to connect and grow together.
