The Huon Valley is set to join communities across Australia in the nation’s biggest secondhand shopping event – the Garage Sale Trail.
Across backyards, school halls and community markets on 8–9 and 15–16 November, residents will be selling and buying thousands of pre-loved items.
From fashion and furniture to books, toys, tools and unique finds, the Garage Sale Trail is the perfect way to discover affordable treasures while helping reduce waste.
Last year, Australians saved an estimated $9.3 million by buying secondhand, with the average item costing just $5 — proving that secondhand shopping is good for both the planet and your pocket.
