Two people sit on a wooden floor creating a poster about waste reduction, with drawings of a light bulb, leaf, and apple, and words like reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle. ReThink Waste at the Library text is visible.

Learn how to recycle right with a creative, hands-on workshop at the library.

Recycling is our last chance to recover materials before they end up in landfill. Are you a super source separator or a wishcycler? Test your knowledge and become a Good Sort as we demystify the recycling process here in Tasmania.

ReThink Waste at the Library are free sessions designed to Avoid, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle waste. Each session will focus on a different waste-related topic, carefully aligned with the seasonal calendar. This waste education series is a great way for community members to deepen their understanding of waste, recycling, and sustainability while connecting with others who are passionate about making a difference.

ReThink Waste Tasmania is a statewide waste education initiative provided through a collaborative partnership between Tasmania’s three regional waste bodies – TasWaste South, Cradle Coast Waste Management Group and Circular North. It is supported by the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board, which is funded by the Tasmanian Government.
