Huon Valley Council wishes to advise motorists of traffic hazards with management in place over the summer period.

Wattle Grove Road, Wattle Grove
On the advice of engineers, traffic lights are in place reducing a short section of Wattle Grove Road to 1 way traffic. Further investigation of the landslip is underway and we intend works to stabilise the embankment to occur this summer.

Kingfish Beach Road, Southport
Guideposts narrowing a short section of the road will remain in place for a further 12 months while a landslide remains under observation. Our latest engineering assessment has determined there has been no evidence of further slipping however further observation is required before remedial works are confirmed.
