Recycle Rewards have installed a brand new 4-terminal Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) outside Sparkles Huonville, making it easier than ever to return your eligible beverage containers.
What’s a Reverse Vending Machine (RVM)?
It’s a self-service machine where you can return eligible drink containers to receive a refund! Simply place your empty containers into the machine, they are scanned to verify eligibility, and you then receive either a voucher, a deposit into your account (like PayPal or bank), or you can choose to donate your refund to a charity, school, or community group.
The container refund point will be closed over the weekend and go live daily from Monday, 2 June, operating 7am–9pm (8am–9pm Sundays).
So hang onto your empty bottles and cans this weekend, and be among the first to try out the new automated system from 7am Monday.
