Huon Valley Council wants your input on Cygnet’s future development! We are starting work on a new Cygnet Township Structure Plan and want to hear your ideas and priorities.

Be Part of the Conversation
This Friday and Saturday, our planning consultants will be walking around Mary Street and Cygnet Parks to chat to the community. These pop-up sessions will help us shape the focus and content of detailed design workshops and community surveys scheduled for August.

Why Now?
Council’s endorsed Land Use and Development Strategy shows that Cygnet will need to accommodate approximately 2,500 new homes by 2046. With suitable land in short supply, the new Township Structure Plan will help ensure growth is managed sustainably, protecting Cygnet’s unique character and liveability.
