- Part Time – minimum 16 hours (Cygnet)
- Casual – (Southbridge, Cygnet & Dover)
- $61,478 pro rata ($31.11 per hr)
- 14.5% Employer Superannuation
- Weekend work required with penalty rates
The Role
As the Waste Transfer Station Operator, you will:
- Provide friendly customer assistance and information about waste disposal
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for everyone
- Guide customers on how to sort their waste properly
- Identify reusable or recyclable materials for resale
Skills & Experience
What You will Bring:
- Good customer service skills and clear communication
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience with or willingness to learn payment systems and cash handling
- Able to safely perform physical tasks
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Previous experience with waste management is helpful but not required – we’ll train you if you’re the right person
