As our Technical Manager Planning, you’ll provide expert guidance and leadership in complex planning matters while preserving our region’s unique character. Your impact

You’ll be instrumental in:

  • Managing complex planning applications and amendments
  • Mentoring and guiding statutory planners
  • Building strong relationships with technical stakeholders
  • Providing expert planning advice to Council and community
  • Representing Council in appeals and significant matters
  • Delivering innovative planning solutions

What you’ll bring

We’re seeking an experienced planning professional with:

  • Relevant planning qualification
  • Eligibility for PIA membership
  • Strong technical knowledge of planning legislation
  • Proven stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Excellence in complex report writing and assessment
