The Role
As the Assistant Manager Recreation Services you will:
- Oversee operations of sport facilities, centres, playgrounds and cemeteries
- Guide the Recreation Services team through ongoing development and improvement
- Develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships with sporting and recreation organisations
- Ensure optimum financial performance of Council’s recreational commercial operations
- Liaise with all levels of Government to maximise all opportunities to improve recreation in the Huon Valley.

Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Tertiary qualification or extensive hands-on recreation industry experience
- Experience guiding teams through growth and innovation
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to build lasting community partnerships
- Excellent communication skills and natural problem-solving ability
