The Role
As the Assistant Manager Innovations and Technology you will:
- Drive innovation by providing operational advice and support to implement cutting-edge digital solutions across the Council
- Shape the future of our technology landscape, overseeing critical systems, processes, and infrastructure
- Lead and inspire a talented team, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organisational goals
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Proven track record of leadership in technology roles, demonstrating strategic decision-making skills and a keen ability to navigate complex risk landscapes
- Excellent working knowledge of design software packages and proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite
- Strong expertise in IT support and system administration, including Microsoft 365 and network infrastructure
- Exceptional project and time management skills
- Outstanding administrative and communication abilities
- Capacity to work proactively, both independently and as part of a team
