Tassie Mini-Z Club is bringing 1:28 scale Mini-Z racing to Cygnet for a free, fun-filled weekend open to everyone. Whether you’re picking up an RC controller for the first time or you’re already deep into tyre compounds and gear ratios, there’s something here for you.
For younger drivers, it’s a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, patience, and respect — learning to race fairly, take turns, marshal, and be part of a team. For adults, the hobby runs surprisingly deep. Dialling in setups, experimenting with tyres and gearing, and refining your lines to chase down those last few tenths can be genuinely addictive — and often proves far more popular with grown-ups than expected!
Loan cars are available on the day, so you don’t need to bring a thing. Just show up, have a go, and see what all the fuss is about.
