Arad is an Indigenous person from Iran. He is a father, refugee advocate, entrepreneur and a Huon Valley resident. Arad recently shared his story with us about becoming a refugee and his journey to Australia.

He has a simple message for people who are unsure how to treat refugees:

“Could you please just share your smile with me? Could you please hug me and say welcome? Touch my heart. Could you please come here and listen to my story why I came here? Listen to me before you judge me”
