Huon Lawn Cemetery Public Toilet Upgrade

Council has identified that the public toilet located within the Huon Lawn Cemetery on Glen Huon Road is in need of an upgrade and has allocated $80,000 from the 2020/2021 Asset Renewal Budget.

Works have commenced on the demolition of the existing facility and replacing with two all-accessible public facilities.

July 2021

Work has now been completed on the Huon Valley Cemetery upgrade and these facilities are now open to the public.

May 2021

Work is progressing well with the internal linings installed and painted, electricals completed and floor coating applied. We are currently waiting on the plumbing fit-out.

April 2021

Works are progressing well and the facilities are at lock up stage.
