The Youth Mental Health First Aid course (YMHFA) will teach you how to assist adolescents who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis is resolves, using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan.

This course includes a self-paced eLearning component which takes approximately 3.5 hours – that must be completed prior to the face-to-face session.

Huon Valley Council are excited to subsidise this training – which normally costs $290 – to community members and organisations who work/live with young people int he Huon Valley.
