Learn how to build your own garden beds at home with local carpenter and builder, Ryan.

Ryan will take you through making beds using standard timber, as well as ideas for using recycled materials.

We’ll also be making up some timber seedling raising trays for the Huonville Primary kids to learn about seed raising. The beds we will build will help the school kids learn about growing their own food and saving seeds for next year.

It’s a great opportunity to help out your local community and learn some handy skills.

Please bring along hammers, drills and bits and spades to help fill the beds afterwards.
