Join us on Saturday, October 14th, 2023, for the second annual Hilltop Hike in the beautiful Huon Valley. Hilltop Hike is not just an event; it’s a community-driven endeavour to raise funds and awareness for youth mental health.

After losing some of our young people to suicide, the Hilltop Hike was created to start a conversation about suicide prevention and mental health. In 2022, our community achieved a remarkable milestone by raising an astounding $67,648. These funds went straight to local mental health services and community mental health training. It was a powerful demonstration of what can be accomplished when community and local businesses join forces, making a tangible and lasting impact.

Now an annual tradition in the Huon Valley, the Hilltop Hike is recognised as the Huon Valley’s largest fundraiser for local youth mental health. Together we walk or run to the top of Scenic Hill in Huonville, demonstrating our commitment to the next generation and bringing community, clubs, individuals, families and businesses together to make a real difference.

Building upon the resounding success of last year, we are gearing up to do it all over again, raising funds for the Huon Valley PCYC After School Drop-In Program.

Opening Ceremony will be at the PCYC at 10am, and then participants make their way to Scenic Hill Rd where the official walk will kick off at 10.15am.  Why not head back to the PCYC once you have finished and enjoy a free BBQ and activities.
